willow’s Adoption Story

Willow getting a hug from her mom

💙ADOPTED❤️ Rescued May 17, 2024 at age 7, little Willow had already endured some adversity. Sadly,
her owners both died by suicide (a couple— 35yo male and 28yo female). So, an online pug community rallied to find new homes for Willow and her white Pekingese sibling. We got Willow and PRK volunteer @jjack.ddeck.m found a home for the Pekingese.

After recovering from a severe eye ulcer, a flight volunteer (thank you, Ms. Choi!) offered to take her to LA from Korea on 1/27/25, and off Willow went!

From Willow’s mom @danielaarceo, who adopted her on March 2, 2025:

“Willow is doing great and has been enjoying life with her 3 pug siblings. She has gone on 2 separate vacations with us and enjoys staying at hotels with us and sleeping in the bed, like a true hotel guest.

Even though she is still not sure about enjoying walks, she is warming up to the park visits. She discovered that she enjoys sunbathing outside but prefers to stay indoors (I have to carry her on walks).

She is the best work buddy, she is usually with me in the office and has to attend meetings with me on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Her attendance is mandatory 😁.”

Thank you to @snow_nr, @pugnacious.pins, @ajfigs08 , @thepugfostermom and @lennythebear for fostering Willow and preparing her for her forever home!

Congrats to Willow and her family!
