gremmy’s Adoption Story

Gremmy with his new mom

💙ADOPTED❤️ Dec 18, 2024 – We rescued Gremlin (FKA Lotso) from the shelter in Nov 2024. He was originally found in a factory 🏭 & warehouse complex surrounded by mountains in Haman, a southern province in Korea.

In our rescuer’s words: “I am suspicious that someone moved him to there for dumping (this type of environment is common for dumping dogs). He stayed with other dog having Parvo, which worried me a lot. After staying for checking that at the vet, he came to my home. He didn’t have parvo, thank goodness.”

On Dec 18, 2024, we put Gremlin on a flight to NYC…destination: FOREVER HOME!

We knew Dayna’s home was just right for Gremlin – especially after learning that they adopted their other pugs from our pals @pugnationla. Once an adopter, always an adopter! 😍

From his mom, Dayna:

“We call him Gremmy bc it’s a cute nickname (derived from the sometimes more sinister character Gremlin) that really suits him.

“Gremmy is the busiest and rambunctious of our grumble. He’s up for everything all the time. For instance, he is the first to wake us up in the morning. He sleeps under the covers and once that sun starts poking through the windows, so too does Grems. And he isn’t subtle about it. He will dance upon you until you rise and address his list of needs and wants.

“Of all our dogs, he most loves Liza, a black pug girl adopted from PNLA. You’ll see the 2 of them in the pictures. He follows her all around, play wrestling, and snuggles. It’s a growing romance. The other pug we adopted from PNLA is Kevin. Gremmy steals all the toys from Kevin, but will happily deal one or two back to him in the form of a tug-of-war game. You can start to see why he’s earned the nickname “Gremmy!”

“Gremmy is the most agile & athletic pug we’ve ever had! He keeps us on our toes, and we enjoy watching him run around our yard. He’s also incredibly handsome, and we say all the time how he looks like so many of those pugs that you’ll see on a t-shirt or mug. We chose to adopt a younger dog because we wanted a little razzle-dazzle, given that we have mostly senior dogs now. And can I definitely say that our life is fuller and interesting with Gremmy!”

RAZZLE ON, GREMMY! ✨✨
