hudson’s Adoption Story
Sho meets his new mom, Sonia, at LAX
💙ADOPTED ❤️Jan 29, 2025 – Now 7yo Sho (fka Hudson) was originally found wandering in a small park in Korea, then sent to the shelter where no one claimed him. He was obviously dumped there by his previous owner. His adoptive mom later said they believe he was once someone’s pet because he knows many commands in Korean, such as sit, paw, lay down, and spin!
We rescued Sho from the shelter on Apr 29, 2024, and 10 months later, he flew with a flight volunteer in-cabin to LA to find his eventual forever family!
Sonia flew to LA from Colorado to foster him…et voila, foster fail!
From Sonia:
“Sho 쇼 🫶 is an absolute character! He’s such a laid-back couch potato and the perfect cuddle buddy anyone can ask for. He loves his siblings and gets along very well with the group completing the little trio 💕 He definitely knows I’m mom because since day 1 of fostering him he has been attached to my hip and I couldn’t be loving it more ♥️ He loves walks but due to the injuries on both of his knees he has a hard time keeping up with his sisters, but never let’s his disability keep him down! SHO LOVES NAPS, NAPS AND MORE NAPS and I can’t complain because I am right there with him 💤
Sho loves stuffed animals. All shapes and sizes no matter if they are 2x bigger than him. If Sho is lounging around the house, 9/10 times he has a stuffie next to him. He has one particular habit: he loves to lay on you, especially your back.
He still understands all his tricks in Korean. He is incredibly smart and loves treats. We always have a blast playing with Sho; despite his age of 7, he has the spirit of a puppy when he wants play time. Sometimes I think he’d make a great tea time buddy bc of how calm and unbothered he is around my 2-year-old. He’s such a gentle soul, and he really is the heart of the home. I’m blessed to have him as my best friend and so incredibly lucky to be his dog mom 🐾 Thank you Pug Rescue of Korea for everything you do for these dogs. You gave Aho a second chance at life, and he’s definitely changed mine ♥️
Thank you Jenna for fostering Sho in Korea. Thanks Alice for temp fostering him in LA until Sonia could pick him up.
