I’M AVAILABLE!

Hi! I’m Stuart!

Meet stuart!

  • Stuart is a sweet, curious, loving, adorable & energetic boy! He's enthusiastic & happy to be here.

  • He loves everyone instantly. He loves snuggling & being a lap dog or at least staying close. He is energetic & active but super adaptable. He can easily go on long walks, but he’s also fine cozy at home. He spins in little circles, hopping when excited & can power through a long walk. He walked almost 2 miles the other day & wasn’t tired afterward. Sometimes I can't believe he's 7yo! Curious & good-natured, he loves exploring on walks.

  • He's gotten better w/food aggression (skinny & hungry all the time!). Going potty outside has improved (uses pee pads too). He sometimes marks, so he wears a belly band. We’re working on controlling some of his excitement. He's jumped on our more senior pug a couple of times when excited to eat or sit in my lap, but learned quickly that it’s not appreciated 🥴

  • Stuart loves burrowing under covers & sleeps fully under all the blankets at night. He knows a few commands in Korean.

  • Stuart would do best in a home where someone is home or takes him to work. He has some separation anxiety. He loves to be w/ppl. He wants to be close to me or my husband most of the time.

  • He’s interested in other dogs; he’s not shy or aggressive. He is fine with w/other dogs (gets along with w/our pug). But he prefers the lap space & attention for himself. 😊

  • Why should you adopt Stuart? No matter what he’s been through, Stuart has the biggest heart & wants to love so much. He’ll be your most loyal sidekick immediately and the biggest snuggle buddy. His good mood is infectious! Every day is a good day with Stuart by your side.

STuart’s Rescue Story

When we took him to the vet after rescuing him from the shelter in Oct 2024, we learned he had ophthalmomyiasis – aka a fly laid eggs in his eyes! Our vet meticulously removed over 30 worms from his eyes. He recovered; the squirmy guys did not impact his vision!

Health Considerations

None
