Gets along well with other dogs. He’s not alpha and is very kind to other dogs.
Roman is a happy boy!
We have not seen him mark. He is pee pad trained and will also do his business outdoors on walks (though we are unsure if he knows to hold it indoors until he goes outside).
His energy level is a seven on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest.
Roman stays with you all the time and likes to be touching you. But while asleep, he is not glued to you.
He has great recall. When you call him, he quickly comes to you.
He does not have separation anxiety.
Roman is not sensitive to his surroundings. If he meets a cat or a human baby for the first time, he does not react much. If either one jumps out and surprises him (as either is wont to do), he will barely react.

Health Considerations
Roman had luxating patella surgery on his right knee on Feb 10, 2025. He has recovered well, but needs to build more muscle and would benefit from more walks and exercise.
Roman’s Rescue Story
Hes was found in the city of Osan, South Korea, where a US airbase is. It was a mountainous area with few apartments. He was left in a box (like an Amazon box) with a harness and collar but without tags. He then ended up at the shelter, where we rescued him on November 21, 2024.
