I’M PENDING ADOPTION!
Hi! I’m LADY BIRD!
Meet LADY BIRD!
Lady Bird is a sweet, playful, and social dog who loves being around people, children, and other dogs. With her tiny size, small head, and adorable big eyes, she’s a little pug full of affection.
Social, sweet, and affectionate. She doesn’t bark (she makes cute dolphin-like noises instead!) I love bringing her to different places because she’s such an easy dog to bring around.
She actually enjoys brushing her teeth, cleaning her folds and ears, and washing her paws. She meets me in the same area around the same time (7pm), so she can get ready to brush her teeth! She loves to follow her routine.
Trained her to “Leave it,” which I use when we go on walks, and she’s great at listening. She doesn’t pick things up from the ground as much since we started training, but continuing to reinforce. She loves to look for food around the house, but she doesn't jump up on the chair to reach the dinner table.
Potty training: Goes on the grass and in the backyard now. She knows how to use pee pads.
When she was left alone in the house, she takes a nap or waits near the door.
LOVES/ADORES children. She likes giving them sweet kisses when she meets children. She’s very gentle with them.
We are seeing her being more independent these days even though she loves being around people.
She’s not alpha or dominant.
She would do fine as an only dog or with other dogs, but I think she’ll enjoy being the only dog.
The best home scenario: A home who can provide a steady, loving presence, a home where she’s treated as part of the family. She’s easy to live with and bring around to different places. A home where someone works from home and she can be around children would be a big plus!

Health Considerations
When Lady Bird first arrived in the US, she was experiencing allergy symptoms (reverse sneezing) due to the environmental change. Korea’s allergen environment is more pollution-based than plant-based. Southern California has more dust mites, tree, grass and weed pollens. Lady Bird went from an irritant heavy environment to an allergen heavy one, so it can take a little time to adjust to this environmental allergen change.
Her foster mom has been giving her Adored Beast Potent Sea Oil and Fido's Flora (probiotics), which have helped calm her reaction and she has not reverse sneezed since.
