I’M AVAILABLE!

Hi! I’m homer!

Meet homer!

  • Homer is a happy, high-energy, very puppy-like pug. He’s playful and loves to run, chew bones, and play with toys.

  • He whines sometimes like he is trying to talk to you.

  • Homer is very possessive of bones and will snap at another dog if they try to snag his bones.

  • He is mostly potty trained – he pees on pee pads or outside.  He has some accidents but is good if taken out on a walk. He’s not crate trained.

  • He doesn’t bark excessively.

  • Homer thinks he is an alpha, but he is not. He is good with other dogs.

  • I haven’t seen him around kids, but I think he’d be good with kids. He wants to meet every person we pass on the street.

  • Homer would do well in a home with dog or without dogs.

  • Home would do ok home alone for several hours.  He will follow you everywhere you go when you are home.

  • With his high energy level and love for running, he would be great with a family with kids to expend his energy. He really just loves everyone he sees.

  • Why should someone adopt this pug? He is super sweet and energetic. He will love and show affection unconditionally to his new family.

Health Considerations

He is fully recovered from ACL surgery. In early October, he had a minor eye ulcer (eye was poked) and he’s been treated.
