A good boy, gentle with other dogs, calm and sweet

He is affectionate and obedient. He knows how to sit and wait for his food. When he wants to go out, he comes over to me, sits, and stares at me.

He is potty trained. He holds it until he goes outside.  He doesn’t mark.

Not dominant, alpha or aggressive

Although we haven’t seen him with kids, we believe he would be good because he seems to like everyone.

He would be fine with other dogs at home as long someone is home too. He plays a little with my pugs. He loves chew bones but will growl if another dog goes near. He does not attack or try to bite other dogs.

Herman would do fine home alone for several hours. He’s fairly independent.

The best home scenario for Herman is a home with a loving person.

You should adopt Herman because he’s so sweet and loves to cuddle. He’s happy and energetic when he goes outside. He loves to explore and always comes to welcome me when I come home.

He has cute white patches on his body including “white socks.”
