Hi! I’m dottie!
I’M AVAILABLE!

Meet dottie!
Dottie is a calm and chill companion who gets along wonderfully with other dogs and all people. She will charm you with her easy nature and loving cuddles – Dottie loves to be near her people! This little explorer enjoys discovering new things on walks and is generally an easy pup to have around.
Just a few adorable quirks? Dottie has a playful fondness for socks and might gently tug on your pant legs during walks (she just gets so excited to explore!). She's doing great with pad training and prefers doing #2 business outdoors. She traveled all the way from Korea and was a perfect passenger in her crate!
While Dottie isn't overly anxious, she might give a little woof at hallway sounds and isn't a fan of the dishwasher door. No excessive barking here! She's pretty middle-of-the-road with other dogs, showing curiosity and friendliness (except for that one time she met her match in the mirror! 😂). She's been wonderful with kids and adults alike. Her chewing is mostly limited to those tempting socks and pant legs.
While Dottie is good with other dogs, her foster dad thinks she might thrive as the only pet, soaking up all the attention she loves! She's been fine when left alone for a few hours but is happiest when her humans are around.
The ideal home for Dottie is with a couple or family who will shower her with affection. She's a Velcro pug in the best way and will make her adopter the center of her world!
Why should you adopt Dottie? If you're looking for a chill, sweet, and loving companion who is easy to have around and thrives on human connection, Dottie is your girl! 🥰

Dottie’s Rescue Story
When we rescued Dottie and her brother Spanky (fka Pudding) from the shelter, we learned they were there because their owner was found deceased.
Their owner neglected them – to the point where Dottie had been wearing an ill-fitting harness for so long that it cut into her armpit, leaving a ghastly, painful open wound.
Health Considerations
Dottie had surgery to repair her (grade 3 and 4) luxating patellas (dislocated kneecaps) in both hind legs. She needs to rebuild the muscles and should not walk at steep inclines and declines until July 2025.
We suggest joint supplements moving forward to protect her joints.
*Adoption fee covers vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip, all medical care, and transportation from Korea to the US. For more information on the adoption process and fee, visit how to adopt.
