Hi! I’m BELLINKI!
I’M AVAILABLE!
Meet BELLINKI!
Bellinki is a calm, affectionate pug who bonds deeply with his person and loves nothing more than being by your side. But don't let his cuddly nature fool you—he's also surprisingly athletic for a pug! He enjoys long, exploratory walks and thrives at the dog park, where he especially loves romping with larger, active breeds like Labs, Huskies, German Shepherds, and Pitbulls. He's the rare pug who can keep up with the big dogs and still curl up in your lap at the end of the day.
Bellinki is a world-class snuggler who will melt your heart when he gently places his paw on your hand to ask for pets. He's also impressively smart—he learned the English commands "sit," "come," "stay," and "down" in just four weeks, showing how eager he is to connect with his people. His greatest gift is versatility: he matches your energy perfectly, happy to be your adventure buddy or your couch companion depending on the day.
Bellinki is a sun worshipper! Give him a deck or a sunny patch of floor and he'll happily soak up the rays like a little beach bum. Our groomer also loves him because he is the most docile pug even when she’s brushing his teeth or grinding his nails.
Bellinki is nearly fully housetrained—he's had only one minor accident in the past month and is improving steadily with consistent routine. He's excellent about communicating when he needs to go outside for #2, reliably standing by the door to let you know. A little patience and consistency from his forever family will have him fully there in no time.
Bellinki is crate-comfortable. While he hasn't been crated on a regular schedule, he accepts the crate calmly and without fuss when it's been used, making the transition to a crate routine easy for his new family.
Bellinki is a confident, well-adjusted pug who handles most situations with ease. Like many devoted dogs, he may pace briefly or bark for a minute or two when left alone and hears unexpected sounds at the door—but he settles down quickly on his own and doesn't engage in any destructive behavior.
His one area for continued growth is leash manners around other dogs. Bellinki is a social butterfly who gets so excited when he spots another dog that he'll bark and pull toward them because he desperately wants to say hello and play—this is purely friendly, enthusiasm-driven behavior, not aggression. We started working on bringing down his greeting energy down a bit, so he doesn’t inadvertently startle the other dog when rushing over to play with them. He's already been making progress with training, and with a committed owner who continues this positive reinforcement work, he'll learn to greet other dogs more calmly.
Bellinki is a quiet, low-key companion inside the home. The only time he vocalizes is when he hears or sees another dog—his way of saying "I want to play!" Otherwise, he's blissfully silent.
Bellinki has no dominant tendencies whatsoever. He's purely play-motivated. If another dog matches his energy, he's all in for a romp. If the other dog is more laid-back, he'll offer a polite sniff and respectfully move on—a sign of excellent social awareness.
Bellinki is wonderful with other dogs once he gets to meet them. He's playful, friendly, and well-socialized. His enthusiasm on-leash (the barking and pulling described above) is simply his way of expressing how badly he wants to make a new friend—and it's a behavior that responds very well to consistent, reward-based training.
While Bellinki hasn't been formally tested with children, his foster family sees every reason to believe he'd be great with them. He genuinely loves people, has a gentle and affectionate disposition, and has the energy and playfulness to keep up with active kids—he'd likely consider them his best playmates.
Bellinki is adaptable! He'd flourish in a home with other active, playful dogs who can be his built-in buddies, or he'd do equally well as the only pug in a household with owners and/or kids who can meet his activity and companionship needs.
Bellinki handles alone time well for 4–5 hours. He may pace and bark softly for a few minutes after you leave, but he settles himself calmly on the couch without any destructive behavior—he's simply waiting patiently for your return.
Bellinki's dream home is with an active, engaged family or individual who loves the outdoors as much as the indoors. He needs someone who will take him on long walks, give him yard or park playtime, and then reward them both with quality cuddle time on the couch or in bed. An owner willing to invest in continued positive-reinforcement training—especially around leash manners—will be rewarded with a confident, well-rounded companion who just gets better with time.
Bellinki is that rare dog who truly has it all: he's sweet, smart, cuddly, and athletic, wrapped up in one handsome pug package. If you're looking for a morning hiking partner who transforms into an afternoon movie-watching snuggle buddy, Bellinki is your perfect match. He's already learned so much in a short time and is ready to pour all his loyalty and love into his forever person. Bellinki's bags are packed—he's just waiting for you!

Bellinki’s Rescue Story
In June 2025, a family surrendered Bellinki and another white pug (since adopted). They had one child and a newborn and could not care for 5 dogs (they kept 3 dogs) plus 2 kids.
health considerations
Bellinki has manageable food and/or environmental allergies that can cause occasional skin itching. This has been well-controlled with hypoallergenic prescription dog food and by keeping human food off his menu. His new family simply needs to continue this straightforward dietary plan to keep him comfortable and itch-free. Our vet said if he does have any skin reaction to a particular food, give him a Benadryl tablet. His Korean foster mom said that she’s only had to do that once the 6 months she had him when he ate a loaf of bread off the dining table one day that the family had forgotten about.
*Adoption fee covers vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip, all medical care, and transportation from Korea to the US. For more information on the adoption process and fee, visit how to adopt.
