If you’re looking for a loyal, Velcro pug, then Banchan is for you!
Banchan is a chill pug. He’s smart, a fast learner, and reads the room quickly. He is eager to please and, during training, will keep trying until he is successful.
Due to his previous trauma, he has separation anxiety. If you close the bathroom door, he will bark and scratch to join you (Banchan: “Need some help in there?”). He likes to be with his human.
Very observant with a good memory.
He gets along with other dogs, but he doesn’t interact much with them.
Banchan needs love. He is “starved for love,” and always wants to be involved with you.
He sits next to the table when we have dinner. He is well-mannered with good etiquette!

Health Considerations
Banchan had successful surgery to repair his grade 3 luxating patella. He also had elongated soft palate surgery in March. In May, the vet removed a cyst from his eye.
banchan’s Rescue Story
On a frigid, rainy day in February, Banchan was dumped in front of a private shelter in the mountains. A woman found him and looked for someone to take this abandoned boy. That’s when we got him in March.
His skin looked odd. We guess he was used to train dog grooming students on how to groom dogs.
